You will need to know the phone carrier (ATT, Verizon, etc.) for the user you are wanting to send a text message too. Without this information, you will not be able to send a text from Outlook.
- Create a new message in Outlook. In the To... box, type the phone number you are sending to followed by the @xxx you chose from the list below (this is the carrier that the user has service with).
- AT&T: 3605226473@txt.att.net
- Sprint: 3605226473@messaging.sprintpcs.com
- T-Mobile: 3605226473@tmomail.net
- Verizon: 3605226473@vtext.com
- Fill out the rest of email with a Subject line and Message Body and send the email like you normally would.
- The User will receive the message as a text message on their mobile device.
