DES Application Renewal Process

Every year, TSD will send out an email to employees with a list of the applications they are subscribed to. The email is only related to paid applications that are approved for use by TSD security.

The process is a 2-step process with actions pertaining to the employee and the employee's manager.

Below are instructions detailing the 2-step process

EMPLOYEES:

  1. To access the Application Renewal form, click here. Read the Important Note and then click continue to get started.

  2. Complete a separate form for each application listed in your email.

  3. If you choose "Renew my Subscription", a new box will appear for the Budget Code. Ensure the manager listed is your correct manager. You have the ability to change it if it isn't.

  4. If you choose "Cancel my Subscription", you will just need to click Submit and no manager approval email will be sent out.

MANAGERS/SUPERVISORS:

  1. Managers/Supervisors will receive an email from Microsoft Power Automate. The subject line will be something like "Please review Application Renewal Request".
    • If you are unable to find the email, you can also visit this page and see all your requests needing approved. Power Automate Approvals

  2. Review the Request Highlights and Requestor information.

  3. Click Approve (or reject if you do not want the employee to renew their subscription).

  4. You will be redirected to the Approval page. This is where you will see all requests you need to approve or reject.

  5. You can approve several requests from the Approvals page by highlighting the link and clicking the check mark, or you can click on one of the Requests to open the Respond window.

  6. In the Respond window, you will see the same information you just reviewed in the email.

  7. Click the dropdown under Choose your response and select a response.

  8. Select Confirm at the bottom of the page.

NOTE: You can wait and approve all requests at one time from the Approvals page or you can approve them as they come in.
