The Systems and Infrastructure Support (SIS) Team is responsible for the agency’s network and server infrastructure supporting all DES applications. We work closely with all ITS departments as well as other DES divisions to ensure the agency’s IT infrastructure and supporting systems are robust, resilient, secure and reliable.
Scope of Services:

Network Engineering:
Design, implement and maintain DES agency computer networks. -
Server Engineering:
Manage and maintain all DES agency server infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. -
Life Safety and Facilities System Support:
Partner with CSVS and B&G to provide robust IT network support for critical life safety systems such as Surveillance, Access Control, Fire Control, Building Controls, and more. -
IT Consultation:
Partner with all DES departments and divisions to provide design and architecture consultation for IT projects. -
Issue Escalation and Resolution:
Partner with ITS teams to respond to critical outages and solve
complex IT issues. -
Data Backup:
Back up and securely store all agency IT data. -
IT Asset Protection and Monitoring:
Manage the agency firewalls and provide proactive IT asset monitoring to enable rapid, proactive response to IT outages and security issues.
